Interior Design: About Space

An award-winning gelato shop centred around a bold concrete counter, custom-made for the space and designed to catch your eye from outside. We paired it with bespoke handmade wooden chairs, a bench, and tables, and balanced it out with a reflective wall sculpture.
Everything in the interior was made locally and by local craftsmen.

A three-floor flagship store in the heart of Amsterdam for the European fashion brand Mikuta, shaped by the brand’s style and the lifestyle of the founders. We brought in subtle Mediterranean references through plaster finishes, straw lamps, and a cave-like lounge area with a changing room, alongside raised platforms used for seating and displays. The original wooden beam ceiling was uncovered during the construction process, and we kept them as one of the most special features of the space.

Interior Design: About Space

As part of a larger team and in collaboration with graphic designers, we developed the exhibition architecture for Family Matters at Humboldt Forum. We created a flexible display system using simple pine beams as a sustainable solution for the one-year long exhibition. The overall experience was designed to feel light, playful, and welcoming for families.

Interior design for the B2B showroom of Deutsche Telekom, created to present non-physical products through space and storytelling. As the showroom changes regularly, each area was designed to help guide visitors through the narrative and support presentations. The project involved researching environments like retail, office, home, and industry, translating them into spatial concepts that reflect current trends, new technologies, and future everyday life.

Interior Design: About Space

For Mikuta’s Berlin store, we chose to highlight the building’s original brick walls and balance them with simple plaster blocks. The space was split into two distinct atmospheres based on function: a bright, light-filled retail area on the ground floor with plants and natural daylight, and a basement with exposed brick, rough black metal details, dimmed lighting, and a full metal bar for special events.

Interior Design: About Space

Interior design support for an art installation by Annie Frost Nicholson inside the iconic K67 Kiosk. The booth invited visitors to share a confession, which was then answered through a custom light and sound reaction created individually for each person. To give the booth's content full focus, we designed the interior as a reflective silver space that amplified light, making the small kiosk feel larger and almost infinite.

Exhibition design for Spotify’s Read Like You Listen booth at Frankfurt Book Fair, created to mark the launch of audiobooks. We designed the space as a surreal oasis inspired by imagination and the inner world of storytelling. Bold colour gradients, artificial grass, real plants, minimal furniture, and white Pantone chairs came together in a setting that felt playful, unexpected, and fresh.

Interior Design: About Space

Interior design concept for a contemporary Turkish restaurant, inspired by the soft brutalist character of the building it was planned in. The design explored contrasts between glossy and rough surfaces, transparent and solid elements, and organic forms paired with geometric lines.

Interior design concept for the central hub of a corporate campus, combining restaurants, coworking areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces. For this pitch, we reimagined the large employee canteen as an indoor plaza with a village-like layout, spread across a quarter of the building and filled with different levels, corners, and places to eat or work. With generous roof light and abundant greenery, including trees and bushes, the space was designed to feel open, lively, and far from a typical corporate cafeteria.

Interior Design: About Space

Interior design concept for the multi-brand fashion house.
The space draws inspiration from the Neris River, flowing alongside the building. Throughout the design process, this influence was gradually abstracted into spatial and material expressions.
The interior reflects the paradoxical nature of water — both dynamic and calm, multifaceted yet perceived as a whole. Particular attention was given to its ability to absorb and reflect light, which informed the use of tinted glass and aluminium surfaces.
The result is a visually neutral space that allows fashion pieces of any style to stand out.

Interior design concept for a boutique café and showroom space, with a brutalist direction subtly inspired by Eastern European landscapes and cityscapes. The design combined familiar local elements such as bare concrete walls, wooden spindle-style furniture legs, and glass brick walls with iconic contemporary furniture pieces. The space was designed to stay flexible and adapt to niche events, pop-ups, and different kinds of gatherings, while keeping a strong identity.
